About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Program Manager to join our North America Direct Fulfillment team. As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for leading 1P carrier initiatives and business development, working closely with partners in Amazon logistics business, Amazon Procurement, and 1P Carriers to align capacity to demand.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement process improvements using data and metrics to drive business growth and efficiency.
  • Build alignment with internal and external transportation providers, negotiating and delivering incremental carrier capacity when needed to meet program volume.
  • Work with Direct Fulfillment colleagues to build processes and tools to enable scalable and flexible operations and drive growth towards program goals.
  • Influence the vision and detailed requirements for automated solutions to enable our business to manage key levers like transit time, transit time contingencies, and carrier capacity.
About the Team

The North America Direct Fulfillment team is a fast-growing, dynamic team responsible for driving operational excellence and growth for an alternative fulfillment channel shipping directly from the Vendor to the Consumer. We strive to make everyone on and associated with the team feel welcome and have fun together.

Basic Qualifications
  • 3+ years of program or project management experience.
  • 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience.
  • Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL.
  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years of driving end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience.
  • 3+ years of driving process improvements experience.
  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization.
  • Experience building processes, project management, and schedules.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
