Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled Per Diem Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team. As a key member of our veterinary care team, you'll provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with our doctors and nurses, and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Triage patients and recognize medical emergencies and illnesses
  • Assess patients, record vitals, and assist doctors with diagnostics
  • Complete treatments as instructed by the doctor and provide basic husbandry and nursing care
  • Monitor changes in patients and provide compassionate care
  • Perform blood draws, place catheters, and assist with radiography capture
  • Prepare samples for outside reference labs and run in-house labs
  • Prepare and administer medications
Requirements
  • Comfortable with computers and online tools
  • Strong enough to lift 50 lbs
  • Thoughtful and fearless team player
  • Skilled at communicating with clients
  • Passionate about pets
