We are seeking an experienced LVN to join our team as a Director of Staff Development at Joshua Tree Post Acute Care Center. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for the orientation and training of nursing staff, as well as conducting orientation for ancillary staff as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of nursing staff
• Conduct regular evaluations to assess staff performance and identify areas for improvement
• Collaborate with the scheduler assistant to ensure adequate staffing levels
• Provide guidance and support to staff members to help them meet their full potential
Requirements:
• LVN licensure in the state of California
• Experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar setting
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
