Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Psychometrist I to join our team at Children's National Hospital. As a Psychometrist I, you will assist fully-licensed neuropsychologists in providing neuropsychological assessments for children with learning, behavioral, and emotional disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in organizing neuropsychological test materials and preparing test rooms for appointments.
  • Collect history from child's family, when appropriate, and perform neuropsychological testing batteries under supervision of licensed staff neuropsychologist.
  • Score tests and record scores on Test Summary form.
  • Maintain appropriate inventory levels of testing materials and organize testing materials.
  • Communicate test results and recommendations to the child's family and referring physician, along with supervising staff neuropsychologists.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from a regionally accredited college or university.
  • No experience required.
  • Familiarity and training with assessment of children.
