Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from an accredited institution or equivalent practical experience.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of successful business-to-business audiovisual or related sales experience.
  • Proven capability to listen, extract pertinent information, and utilize resources effectively to meet customer needs.
  • Ability to swiftly learn about technical products, services, and solutions, applying new knowledge effectively.
  • Skilled in identifying and fostering relationships with senior-level decision-makers.
  • Accurate and timely forecasting abilities.
  • Challenger Sales Training certification is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and customer engagement abilities.
  • Exceptional time management skills.
  • Experience in audiovisual installation and event management is preferred.
  • Relevant manufacturer training and certifications are advantageous.

Additional Requirements
Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience with QCS controls, Biamp, Audio DSP, Shure, and Intelix are essential. Familiarity with AVPro Edge and Visionary Solutions for VoIP/switchers is beneficial. A solid understanding of TCP/IP networking, switches, routers, and firewalls is preferred. Proficiency in Windows-based computers and software is required. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a commitment to teamwork are essential. Ability to interpret complex documents, including product specifications and architectural drawings, is necessary. Effective response to sensitive customer inquiries or complaints is required. A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is mandatory. Infocomm CTS certification is expected within six months of employment, and CTS-I within twelve months. OSHA 10 Hr construction certification must be maintained or acquired within three months of employment.
