Job Title: Translational Scientist III-Oncology

About the Role:

BEPC Inc. - Business Excellence Professional Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Translational Scientist III-Oncology to join our team in South San Francisco, CA. As a key member of our Translational Medicine department, you will play a critical role in transforming patient care through innovative translational science.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, perform, and analyze in vitro and ex vivo experiments to validate biological and therapeutic hypotheses.
  • Elucidate mechanisms of action and resistance to enable in-depth understanding of fundamental disease biology.
  • Inform pharmacodynamic biomarker strategies for immunotherapies, tumor-targeted therapies, and combination therapies.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to synthesize, integrate, and interpret experimental and computational findings.

Requirements:

  • Ph.D. in Immunology, Cancer Biology, or related disciplines.
  • Deep understanding of cancer immunology, oncogenic signaling pathways, and translational drug development.
  • Experience in NSCLC, SCLC, or CRC disease biology.
  • Expertise in leading lab-based research projects involving various experimental techniques.
  • Familiarity with in vivo pharmacology, single cell workflows, and spatial omics.
  • Experience developing and validating clinical biomarker assays and strategies.
