The successful candidate will lead our preclinical in vivo pharmacology efforts across one or more disease pathology areas, including inflammation, fibrosis, and/or metabolic disorders.

This role will focus on developing program-specific strategies, pharmacodynamics/efficacy models, and establishing preclinical in vivo pharmacology proof-of-concept (PoC) and pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic (PK/PD) relationships within our Translational Aging programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish preclinical in vivo PoC and PK/PD relationships to support translational research
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely execution and success of projects
  • Prepare and present research findings to project teams and leadership
  • Write research articles for peer-reviewed publications

Requirements:

  • PhD or equivalent in Physiology, Immunology, Pharmacology, or a related field
  • 5-8 years of relevant research and/or drug discovery experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Thorough knowledge of IACUC guidelines/regulations
  • Excellent communication skills
