Peak Behavioral Health Services is seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join its interdisciplinary team in Oklahoma City. This full-time position offers a competitive salary of $85,000 - $105,000 annually.

This role primarily involves evaluating and treating a wide range of speech and language disorders in children with autism and other disabilities. The successful candidate will work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team, providing comprehensive treatment plans, diagnosing and treating feeding and oral/motor/swallowing issues, and offering family education and training.

  • Evaluate and treat speech and language disorders in children with autism and other disabilities.
  • Create comprehensive treatment plans to address the unique needs of each client.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary evaluations and assessments to inform treatment decisions.
  • Diagnose and treat feeding and oral/motor/swallowing issues in children.
  • Provide family education and training to support the transfer of skills.
  • Supervise SLP assistants as needed to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records in accordance with HIPAA and state and federal regulations.
Qualifications:
  • A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • 2+ years' experience working with children and families, preferably in an outpatient or private-practice setting.
  • Experience working with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) methods.
  • Prior experience working with children with autism or other intellectual disabilities.
  • An Oklahoma State License and a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology granted by ASHA.
  • Familiarity with PECS, AAC, and ASL.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and be physically active in a fast-paced clinical environment.
  • Proficiency in using technology, including Microsoft Office and EMR systems.
