Overview

At Orkin, we're seeking a skilled Home Sales Inspector to join our team. As a Home Sales Inspector, you'll play a critical role in helping customers protect their homes from pests and providing peace of mind. You'll work independently, conducting inspections and making strategic recommendations to customers to prevent pest issues.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough inspections of commercial properties to identify pest issues and provide recommendations for solutions.
  • Achieve sales goals by prospecting new business and assigned leads, utilizing marketing tools to drive new business development.
  • Utilize in-depth training to decide on the best overall pest solution for each customer's needs.
  • Make recommendations to clients based on your inspection and issues identified, addressing any questions and setting expectations.
  • Prepare sales agreements and stay organized using the provided iPad and sales software.
Qualifications
  • Outside sales experience preferred.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license/certification if required (company paid).
  • Ability to work in the field independently and interact with clients.
  • Ability to safely use a ladder within the manufacturer's weight capacity.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, roof tops, etc.
  • Willingness to work in different types of weather conditions.
