About the Role:
Diedre Moire Corporation is seeking a skilled Underwriter specializing in Errors and Omissions (E&O) insurance for various professional service sectors. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing a profitable portfolio while evaluating risks to align with our targeted loss ratio objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess eligibility and create tailored coverage and premium proposals.
- Define coverage terms and establish competitive premiums.
- Manage renewals and foster new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, agents, and clients.
- Generate comprehensive reports on underwriting decisions, appeals, requirements, and status updates.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in E&O or Professional Liability underwriting.
- Relevant certifications such as Associate in Management (AIM), Associate in Risk Management (ARM), or Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) are preferred.
