Job Responsibilities

For over three decades, the Commonwealth of Virginia has been fostering a remarkable organization dedicated to expansion and community support while ensuring an enjoyable work environment. The agency operates solely on revenue generated from game sales, contributing significantly to Virginia's K-12 public education system. Additionally, it oversees the licensing and regulation of casino gaming and mobile sports betting.

The Commonwealth of Virginia is currently looking for a Sales Representative to promote and distribute lottery products to retail partners within designated regions.

Key Duties Include:

  • Developing and maintaining a network of retailers
  • Managing assigned territories
  • Providing training to retail staff
  • Utilizing tablets for Scratcher ordering
  • Overseeing inventory and merchandising
  • Implementing and assessing retailer incentive and promotional initiatives

Performance metrics will be based on sales success and other critical performance indicators.

Essential Qualifications

Candidates should possess experience and knowledge in executing sales, marketing, and merchandising strategies; managing inventory; and having in-field or route sales experience in consumer goods. Skills in customer relations, new product launches, territory management, and familiarity with automated ordering systems or computers are also required. The ideal candidate must be prepared to reside within a 50-mile radius of the business center.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree
- Prior experience in route sales and territory management
