About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Cosmetic Production Manager to join our dynamic manufacturing team. As a Production Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the production process of various cosmetics products, including liquids, hot pours, and powders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement production schedules to ensure timely and cost-effective manufacturing operations.
  • Manage production staff, including recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and fostering a positive work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and industry best practices during the manufacturing process.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production processes and product quality.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and increase productivity.
  • Monitor production metrics and KPIs, regularly reporting on performance and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Maintain accurate production records and documentation for audits and regulatory purposes.
  • Manage inventory levels to meet production demands while minimizing excess stock.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Food Technology, or related disciplines.
  • Proven experience 5 years in managing production operations within the cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, or food industries.
  • In-depth knowledge of cosmetics production processes, including liquids, hot pours, and powders.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of effectively leading production teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain high-quality standards while meeting production targets.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other relevant industry regulations.
  • Familiarity with production management software and tools.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
