Job Description

The Product Development Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing new product formulations, working closely with the Operations Superintendent and other team members to improve current product cost, competitiveness and quality. The successful candidate will have a strong background in blending operations planning, testing and documentation of raw material and final product specifications, as well as experience in identifying and approving new processes to improve current product cost, competitiveness and quality.

This is a critical role that requires a high level of technical expertise, excellent organizational and analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, be self-motivated, and have excellent interpersonal skills.

Requirements
  • Advanced Degree in Chemistry with core competencies including critical thinking, problem solving and analysis. Bachelor's degree in Chemistry acceptable with demonstrated direct blending experience.
  • 5-10 years' experience in product blending operations
  • Awareness of ISO Certification 9001 and 14001 and ability to gain certifications in both.
