Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Planning Manager to join our team at Pop-Up Talent in Houston, TX. The successful candidate will have a strong background in scheduling and expediting, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain schedules to ensure alignment with overall project timelines and goals.
  • Collaborate with procurement, production, and PM teams to align resources and ensure material availability for uninterrupted project flow.
  • Track and expedite the flow of materials/parts, coordinating with suppliers/vendors to meet project timelines.
  • Communicate updates on project progress, material needs, potential scheduling conflicts, and provide regular updates/reports to project stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or a related field is preferred.
  • At least 2+ years of experience in scheduling, production planning, or expediting, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles, continuous improvement practices, project management tools and methodologies, preferred.
  • Proficiency in scheduling software (such as MS Project or similar) and ERP systems.
  • Estimated salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
