About the Role

Bfifurniture is seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Designer to drive the creation of innovative furniture products. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for shaping the product line from concept to production, leveraging your expertise in design thinking and user-centered principles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design process for new furniture products, ensuring they meet customer needs and align with our brand's vision for style and functionality.
  • Conduct user research and market analysis to inform design decisions, staying up-to-date with industry trends and materials.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and marketing, to ensure designs are feasible and aligned with business goals.
  • Mentor junior designers, providing guidance on design processes and best practices.
  • Review and approve design specifications and production drawings, ensuring high-quality products.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in product design, preferably in the furniture or consumer goods industry.
  • A robust portfolio showcasing innovative design solutions and a deep understanding of user-centered principles.
  • Proficient in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, or equivalent.
  • Strong 3D modeling skills in software like SolidWorks or Rhino.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-directed.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and timelines.
