Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior RF Design Engineer to join our Wireless Hardware R&D team in West Union, SC. As a key member of our team, you will design, modify, and manage activities for specific products or groups of products from product definition and planning through production and release.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop new products, support existing products, and improve processes related to RF and communication design
  • Lead RF circuit design from concept to production for low-cost wireless communications product lines, including radio transceiver design and layout
  • Conduct RF circuit measurements using laboratory spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, network analyzers, etc.
  • Verify designs meet requirements through analysis, simulation, and measurement, comparing results to theory and documenting findings
  • Carry out field studies and system test activities
  • Provide design and project support in areas of project leadership, regulation, reliability, and component selection, offering technical support to factory, service, and other internal departments
  • Coordinate and verify the work of support staff (technicians and CAD designers)
  • Lead projects
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of related industrial experience
  • In-depth understanding of electronic circuits, RF circuits, and microwave theory
  • Good understanding of RF systems and wireless communication systems
  • Experience with FCC certification
  • Experience with advanced modeling and simulation
  • Experience with communication theory and digital signal processing is a plus
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in a related field
