Front Desk Supervisor

The Front Desk Supervisor is a key member of the hotel team, responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring seamless operations at the front desk.
Key Responsibilities:- Register guests, issue room keys, and provide information on hotel services and room location.
- Answer phones in a prompt and courteous manner, responding to guest inquiries and resolving issues efficiently.
- Process all cash and credit card transactions accurately, in accordance with established procedures.
- Maintain the security of cash, credit card transactions, and guest information, adhering to hotel policies and procedures.
- Book guest reservations, process cancellations, revisions, and information updates, ensuring seamless communication with guests and other departments.
- Upsell rooms to maximize revenue, promoting hotel services and amenities to guests.
- Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other shifts and departmental management.
- Ensure guest special requests are fulfilled, delivering exceptional service and exceeding guest expectations.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- One year of previous hotel experience, or retail customer service preferred.
- Ability to speak, read, and write fluent English; other languages beneficial.
- Professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Mathematical skills, including basic math, budgeting, profit/loss concepts, percentages, and variances preferred.
- Problem solving, reasoning, motivating, organizational, and training abilities preferred.
