We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Patient Service Representative to join our team at Solis Mammography. As a Patient Service Representative, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Registration and Scheduling: Accurately register patients, including inputting demographic and insurance information into our Radiology Information System (RIS), and verifying the accuracy of existing information.
- Patient Communication: Explain forms to patients, assist with form completion, and provide clear instructions on the necessary paperwork.
- Payment Collection: Collect patient payments, including explaining benefits and insurance verification when necessary.
- Administrative Tasks: Prepare paperwork for future appointments, generate daily invoice journals, and reconcile payments using the Daily Reconciliation Report.
- Training and Development: Participate in front office training to stay up-to-date on front office policy and procedures.
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Two years of healthcare registration or customer service experience preferred.
- Skills: Basic knowledge of cash handling, medical terminology, and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions and short correspondence.
