Respiratory Therapist NICU Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our NICU team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in respiratory care and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, and implement respiratory care procedures for critically ill patients, including mechanical ventilation and airway management.
- Perform and interpret various tests and procedures to assess and manage patient care, in collaboration with physicians.
- Oversee the work of technical respiratory care personnel and provide guidance and training as needed.
- Participate in hospital educational programs and patient care rounds to stay up-to-date on the latest clinical practices and technologies.
- A.S/B.S. in Respiratory Therapy
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification within three months of hire
- Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
- 1-2 years of NICU experience or 2-3 years of critical care experience
- NPS credential
- Maintain NRP/BLS certification at all times
