Job Summary

The Lead Caregiver will be responsible for planning and implementing a safe and developmentally appropriate daycare program for children aged 6 weeks-6 years. This will involve creating engaging activities, ensuring the physical and emotional well-being of the children, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement daily activity plans to meet the needs of the children
  • Supervise and engage with children during activities, ensuring their safety and well-being
  • Prepare and serve meals and snacks according to established schedules
  • Maintain a clean and organized environment, adhering to health and safety standards
  • Communicate effectively with parents and other staff members
Requirements
  • CDA or associate's degree in early childhood education, with relevant experience
  • Annual CPR certification and biannual first aid certification
  • Training in childcare trends and best practices
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
