Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manufacturing Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the assembly department and assisting with the shipping/receiving department. This is a first shift opportunity with hours 7 AM to 3:45 PM M-F.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality control, continuous improvement, and KPIs. They will be responsible for managing employee relations, including hiring and/or termination of employees, training, coaching, and counseling. The successful candidate will also be responsible for overseeing production and/or processes, and will have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage change.

The Manufacturing Supervisor will be responsible for analyzing processes and procedures to produce maximum service with minimal downtime. They will also be responsible for utilizing computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment and other software applications, including data entry and database management. The successful candidate will be able to work at a high level of confidentiality as needed, and will have excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage activities, processes, and strategic plans of the company that support the strategic vision, marketing strategies, and financial objectives.
  • Analyze processes and procedures to produce maximum service with minimal downtime.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations and proven ability to drive and implement process improvements.
  • Utilize computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment and other software applications, including data entry and database management.
  • Work at a high level of confidentiality as needed.
  • Organize and prioritize work.
  • Drive results and continuous improvement in the organization.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent, bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience, which includes leadership responsibility.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Practical knowledge of lean/six sigma strategies.

Work Environment:

The Manufacturing Supervisor will be exposed to constant activity that requires intermittent standing, bending, crouching, twisting, pushing, pulling, lifting, moving, carrying light and heavy loads, and climbing stairs and ladders. The successful candidate will be required to wear proper safety equipment (PPE) and follow safety procedures at all times.
