Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the execution of specific client contracts that involve intricate systems and/or government agreements.
  • Direct, control, and coordinate financial and engineering activities for the programs, ensuring the achievement of financial and technical goals.
  • Facilitate interdepartmental activities within a matrix organization to ensure timely and budget-compliant program completion.
  • Establish operational strategies and implement corrective actions to meet customer needs while achieving project-specific sales and margin targets, on-time delivery rates, and customer satisfaction levels.
  • Oversee the program from initiation to delivery, maintaining communication with clients on technical aspects.
  • Supervise the activities of multiple programs, focusing on cost management, methodologies, and personnel.
  • Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders through comprehensive reports and presentations.
  • Conduct routine project meetings to promote collaboration and effective problem-solving.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for process enhancements and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure that projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and meet established quality standards.
  • Maintain project documentation, including plans, timelines, service level agreements, and other related materials.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline; a Master's degree (MBA) is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Product Management within the Defense or Electronics Manufacturing sectors.
  • Demonstrated project management expertise, including the ability to formulate and execute project plans, monitor progress, and troubleshoot issues.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building and sustaining relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to motivate and guide teams towards achieving project objectives.
  • Comprehensive understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
