Customer Service Representative

At Freedom Munitions, we're looking for a highly skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you'll be responsible for providing top-notch customer service while maintaining a pleasant working environment.
About the Role
This is an entry-level position that requires a high school diploma or equivalent. If you have prior retail or customer service experience, that's a plus
Job Responsibilities
- Greet customers and understand their needs, making recommendations when necessary.
- Maintain knowledge of current sales, promotions, policies, and security practices.
- Zoning merchandise and performing price/product look-ups are also essential functions of this role.
- Operate cash registers accurately and maintain a neat storefront presentation.
Responsibilities
- Learn company policies and procedures quickly.
- Recognize potential security risks and thefts, knowing how to prevent or handle these situations effectively.
- Assist with housekeeping duties and unloading merchandise from delivery trucks.
- Be adaptable and willing to perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
- Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
- Answer phone calls professionally.
Requirements
- Experience: Entry-level, but retail/customer service-related experience is preferred.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Complexity of duties: Maintaining a high level of customer service while handling complications or conflicts professionally.
- Supervision received: Direct oversight from the Retail Store Manager.
- Supervision exercised: Indirectly responsible when instructed by the Retail Store Manager on specific tasks.
- Working conditions: Front-of-store environment.
- Mental and physical demands: Ability to maintain a positive demeanor even when treated unfairly by customers, sitting, standing, lifting up to 50 lbs., reaching, communication skills, and motor coordination skills (coordination of eyes, hands, and feet).
Estimated Salary Range:
$45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience and performance.
