Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and schedule assigned project work, ensuring timely completion and budget adherence.
  • Define, oversee, and commission the implementation of technical complex building automation systems, including large networks and third-party integrations.
  • Provide technical expertise in system troubleshooting and definition, both remotely and on-site.
  • Collaborate with field installation teams to provide detailed information on design and operation.
  • Review and approve submitted materials, including DDC modules, field sensing, and control devices, to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
  • Develop software and graphics solutions for specific project work, tailored to the needs of the business.
  • Provide technical support to operations install teams, ensuring trouble-free customer networks.
  • Manage commissioning tasks within budget and collaborate with operations manager and field supervisor to train and mentor team members on proper documentation development, field procedures, and HVAC and Smart Building automation.
  • Liaise between field installation teams and engineering teams to facilitate third-party integrations.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience in the HVAC controls industry.
  • 1+ years of experience with the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Clean and valid driver's license.
  • Ability to travel in excess of 25% of the typical workweek, including air travel, overnight hotel stays, and unexpected travel.
  • Capable of climbing ladders or using other lift equipment more than 8 feet above grade and capable of lifting items up to 50lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Commissioning experience and understanding of HVAC system installation and operation, as well as building controls and third-party control systems.
  • Experience with major building controls manufacturers and software programming/integration.
  • Ability to handle multiple challenges and knowledge of various disciplines.
  • Strong team player with a customer-centric approach.
