Position Overview

Zoic Studios is in search of a skilled Lead Angular Engineer to enhance our development team. In this capacity, you will be tasked with designing, developing, and sustaining high-quality web applications utilizing the Angular framework.

Your collaboration with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and back-end developers, will be essential in creating scalable and efficient software solutions.

This is a project-based role with potential for extension. U.S. Citizenship is required due to security clearance protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and sustain robust and scalable web applications using the Angular framework, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to outline project requirements, technical specifications, and deliverables.

• Design and implement responsive user interfaces that ensure an optimal user experience across various devices and browsers.

• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code adhering to industry best practices and coding standards.

• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to guarantee high-quality outputs.

• Optimize application performance and scalability through code refinement and efficient database queries.


• Stay informed about the latest industry trends and technologies, proposing innovative solutions to enhance development processes and product quality.

• Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.

• Work alongside the QA team to ensure comprehensive test coverage and assist with bug resolution.

• Participate in code reviews to uphold code quality, ensure compliance with standards, and identify areas for enhancement.

Technical Skills/Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• At least 5 years of professional experience in full stack web development, particularly with the Angular framework.


• Strong expertise in Angular 2+ and TypeScript, with a comprehensive understanding of Angular concepts such as components, services, and dependency injection.

• Solid experience with front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).

• Proven ability in developing responsive web applications and optimizing performance across various devices and browsers.

• Experience with RESTful APIs and back-end system integration.

• Proficient understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git) and familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

• Familiarity with server-side technologies is a plus.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the capacity to work effectively in a collaborative environment.

• Ability to provide public code examples or showcase specific prior work is desirable.

• Willingness to undertake a coding assessment if selected for an interview.

• Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of managing time efficiently.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Extensive experience collaborating within a development team.

• Experience engaging with stakeholders and clients to assess needs, understand challenges, and formulate actionable plans.

• Strong commitment to continuous skill advancement in web application development.

Important Information

This is a remote position.

Candidates must be located in the U.S. and be able to successfully obtain a security clearance.

Zoic Studios does not cover relocation expenses.

Compensation: $50/hr – $65/hr, depending on experience.

Zoic Studios participates in the eVerify program.
