We are seeking a talented Senior Web Engineer to join our Web Platform team. Our suite of solutions for school districts, drivers, operations, and support teams is built on highly scalable and adaptable web applications. These applications facilitate critical functions such as ride management, route planning and optimization, billing and invoicing, vehicle and logistics management, among others. If you are a proactive developer who thrives on tackling complex challenges and creating impactful solutions, this role is tailored for you.

Role Expectations:
  1. You will take ownership of one or more of our web applications.
  2. Collaborate with product and design teams to strategize and implement new product features.
  3. Contribute to the establishment of sound engineering practices by writing high-quality, maintainable, testable, and scalable code, as well as conducting code reviews.
  4. Develop applications that enhance visibility and traceability across the system using tools such as Datadog, Rollbar, Segment, etc.
  5. Maintain a physical presence in the office for a minimum of three days per week.
Essential Technical Skills:
  1. Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
  2. 5+ years of professional experience as a Web Software Developer.
  3. Proficient in architecture design and coding.
  4. Experience with Angular, React, or Ngrx, with expertise in at least one of these frameworks.
  5. Experience in developing consumer-facing or enterprise-level products.

  2. Excellent planning, organizational, and decision-making abilities.
  3. Effective communication skills with engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders.

The targeted base salary range for this position is outlined in the compensation section below. Actual salary may vary based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. Additionally, this role may include further compensation in the form of bonuses, equity, or commissions. For full-time salaried or hourly employees, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), Holidays, Wellness, Vacation, and more. The targeted pay range for this role in the US CA is: $180-220k.
