The estimated salary for this position is $120,000-$180,000 per year, depending on experience, location, and qualifications. This figure is based on national averages and may vary depending on individual circumstances.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a project team to meet customer requirements within allocated cost and schedule commitments in our growing space business area.
  • Develop, oversee, and coordinate the cost/schedule/technical aspects of ongoing engineering projects within program guidelines set by the Program Manager and customer.
  • Review status of engineering projects and budgets, manage schedules, and prepare status reports.
  • Assess engineering issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer-satisfaction goals and objectives.
  • Identify, track, mitigate, manage, and dispositions program-level risks and opportunities.
  • Estimate resource and material needs for the project/product.
  • Provide coordination between resource managers/supervisors and ensure all necessary reviews and approvals are received.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
  • Experience in software development.
  • Experience with Earned Value Management (EVMS) and Microsoft Project.
  • Experience with project engineering and program execution, and managing multi-discipline programs across multiple locations.
  • Experience in hardware/software integration programs.
  • Experience managing projects with budgets of $30M+.
  • Experience with Technical Supplier Management, Risk and Opportunity Management.
  • Experience with managing Agile SW development programs including using Confluence.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Agile PLM.
  • Experience leading Government Contract development programs.
  • Experience in Government contract acquisition lifecycle a plus.
  • Experience with management of design to cost activities.Experience with program, pursuit and proposal activities.
