Position Overview: A prominent A-rated Insurance Carrier is in search of a Senior Commercial General Liability Claims Specialist. This role involves the direct management of moderate to complex litigated and non-litigated Commercial General Liability claims, including but not limited to Slip and Falls, Premise Liability, and Bodily Injury incidents across the nation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of Commercial General Liability claims.
  • Conduct thorough coverage analysis related to the specifics and allegations of each claim.
  • Draft Reservation of Rights and Declination of Coverage correspondence.
  • Exhibit strong litigation management capabilities to effectively oversee litigation processes, budgets, and claim outcomes while considering the broader implications for both the client and the organization.
  • Perform comprehensive coverage, liability, and damage assessments on all assigned claims.
  • Investigate claims by gathering evidence and conducting interviews to ascertain facts.
  • Maintain effective communication with the internal Claims Management team and external parties including Insureds, claimants, attorneys, and brokers.
  • Identify and pursue viable cost containment, loss mitigation, and subrogation recovery strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in Commercial General Liability claims.
  • Prior experience with an Insurance Carrier is essential.
  • Possession of an active adjuster's license is required.
  • Preference for candidates willing to work in a Regional Office 1-2 days per week.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to produce routine reports and correspondence, and effectively present before groups.
  • A Bachelor's Degree is preferred but not mandatory.

  • Annual base salary ranging from $95,000 to $120,000+, with potential bonuses of 10-20%.
