Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement safety, health, and environmental programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Lead the SHE team in conducting regular safety audits and inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvements that enhance safety and environmental performance.
  • Investigate and report on workplace accidents and incidents, and develop corrective action plans to prevent future occurrences.
  • Develop and maintain site-specific safety and environmental manuals, records of inspections, and incident reports.
  • Lead the development of the Safety/Environmental Committees at the plant locations.
  • Prepare monthly reporting of BlueTriton Brands Key Performance Indicators (KPI).
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. environmental science, safety engineering, industrial hygiene).
  • 5+ years of work experience in workplace EHS program management, with a strong background in regulatory compliance.
  • Professional certification in Safety (e.g. CSP, CIH) preferred.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and engage employees in safety and environmental initiatives.
  • Ability to travel on a periodic basis.
