Job Description:

This part-time position involves providing comprehensive nutritional care to our residents, enriching their quality of life through engagement, education, and the promotion of physical health and abilities. As a leader and team player, you will work closely with direct care staff, management, and residents to deliver high-quality care and services.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform assessments to determine residents' nutritional risk and provide quality care through nutrition plans, meal patterns, and interventions.
  • Determine nutritional diagnoses and evaluate residents' responses to care plans.
  • Develop and administer food service education for residents and their families.
  • Ensure the availability of food and supplies as needed.
  • Make recommendations for resident care plan changes and participate in service plan meetings.
  • Plan and conduct in-service training for staff and evaluate results.
  • Monitor monthly weight and communicate with staff about residents' needs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Food & Nutrition or Dietetics (required).
  • Minimum 1 year nutrition experience and Registered Dietitian License in Oregon (preferred).
  • Strong computer skills and working knowledge of office technology and software.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and multitask effectively.
  • Must pass a mandatory background check.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per annum.
