Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Nutrition Professional to join our team as a Regional Dietitian. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing the nutritional needs of our residents and developing individualized dietary plans to promote optimal health and well-being in multiple care locations.

  • Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments of residents upon admission and as needed, considering medical history, dietary preferences, cultural factors, and therapeutic requirements.
  • Develop individualized dietary plans and provide ongoing nutrition counseling to residents to promote optimal health, manage chronic conditions, and support rehabilitation and recovery.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including physicians, nurses, therapists, and food service staff, to ensure coordinated and integrated care that meets residents' nutritional needs and goals.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Registered Dietitian (RD) certification and licensure in the state of practice.
  • Preferred experience working as a dietitian in a healthcare setting, preferably in skilled nursing or long-term care.
