Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Imaging Technician II to join our team at Quest Diagnostics Incorporated. As an Imaging Technician II, you will be responsible for preparing and scanning requisitions, performing instrument maintenance, and ensuring the quality of scanned documents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and scan requisitions, including accessing and navigating in the imaging software and LIS
  • Perform instrument maintenance, including daily cleaning and inspection of equipment, changing ancillary equipment, and initiating calls for vendor intervention
  • Ensure the quality of scanned documents, including monitoring images on the screen and taking appropriate action to ensure quality
  • Box requisitions and attachments for billing
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Prefer at least 1-year experience in a production setting
  • Must have familiarity with personal computers, basic Windows-based software, and good typing skills
  • Prefer familiarity with mainframe computer operating system
Working Conditions

This position works in a biohazard environment, in compliance with all applicable safety requirements. The individual must be able to sit, stand, or walk for long periods, lift up to 50lbs, and maneuver large carts and/or racks with documents.
