Diagnostic Imaging Equipment Specialist

The Field Service Engineer II is a critical role within MXR Imaging, Inc. responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of diagnostic imaging equipment at customer sites. This position requires a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a customer-centric approach.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on medical imaging systems to ensure they operate at peak performance.
Install new equipment at customer sites, providing exceptional support and ensuring seamless integration.
Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues in a timely and efficient manner, often working independently.
Serve as a brand ambassador for MXR Imaging, consistently delivering exceptional customer service and support.
Identify and pass on sales leads to Regional Account Managers, contributing to business growth and contract renewals.
Requirements:
Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering discipline, with electrical, biomedical, or computer engineering preferred.
Military electronics background or equivalent experience is highly desirable.
Must be eligible to obtain Radiation Safety Certification, as required by state regulations.
3+ years of direct field service experience, with 2+ years of ultrasound diagnostic imaging field service experience highly preferred.
Knowledge of ISO 9001/13485 and FDA Quality System Regulation (QSR) quality control guidelines is a plus.
Proficiency in field service software systems is also desirable.
Travel Requirements:
Valid driver's license and a solid driving record for at least five years.
Continuous personal automobile insurance coverage meeting or exceeding state minimum requirements.
Willingness to undertake day travel up to 75% of the time and overnight travel up to 50% of the time, including evenings and weekends.
Ability to be on-call, travel, and/or work evenings, holidays, and weekends as needed.
Must reside within a reasonable driving distance of a major airport, as determined by MXR Imaging, Inc.

Physical Requirements:
Able to lift 50 pounds regularly throughout the workday.
Able to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally.
Capable of stooping, crawling, climbing ladders, and working in tight, confined spaces.
Able to drive up to 8 hours each day.
