About the Role

The Hanover Research Council is seeking a Senior Manager, People Operations to lead our HR operations team and ensure effective delivery of HR services across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day People operations, including employee lifecycle management and People data administration, ensuring accuracy and integrity of employee data and HR records
  • Lead the implementation of HR policies and procedures to maintain compliance with legal regulations and industry standards
  • Lead and support the implementation of new HR technology rollouts with leading teams in testing and implementation working closely with our internal Senior Workday Systems Consultant
  • Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and workflows to increase efficiency and effectiveness
  • Work closely with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, and other HR functions to ensure a cohesive approach to HR service delivery
  • Manage, mentor, and develop the People operations team leads and provide guidance and support to ensure high performance culture within the team
  • Oversee the offboarding process, ensuring that all aspects are handled within local compliance
  • Foster an inclusive and engaging workplace environment where creativity and collaboration flourish
Requirements
  • Prior experience using Workday and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent handle of People metrics and with demonstrated ability to craft insightful Excel reports
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a dash of humor and a sprinkle of empathy
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work and collaborate with multiple teams to help streamline processes
  • Dedication to upholding confidentiality in all aspects of work
  • A vibrant sense of humor, adaptability, and a knack for innovation in challenging situations
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills - you can keep track of a variety of work streams and prioritize accordingly
