Role and Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse in the Float Pool, you will provide high-quality care to patients across various units, including Critical Care, Emergency, and Medical Surgical departments. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering patient care under the supervision of the Nurse Manager or Director.
  • Providing therapeutic and administrative services essential for patient care.
  • Caring for critically ill patients as assigned by the Float Pool agreement.

Qualifications

  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
  • Active nursing license in the state of practice or a compact license.
  • BLS certification required upon hire; ACLS within two months, and TNCC and PALS within six months.
  • Minimum of five years of critical care experience in ICU, PACU, or ER settings.
