We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Critical Care Float Pool team at Overland Park Regional Medical Center. As a Critical Care Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care to a variety of patients throughout our hospital, including those in the ICU, ER, and Step-Down units.
Responsibilities- Provide therapeutic and administrative services necessary for the care of patients, in support of the mission of Overland Park Regional Medical Center.
- Deliver care to acutely ill patients in units as determined by the Float Pool agreement.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Monitor and report patient progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Graduate of a school of nursing, with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Current licensure as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice, or an active compact license.
- Ability to achieve and maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, with Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 60 days of hire.
- At least two (2) years of RN experience in an acute care hospital, with a focus on Med/Surg, PCU, or ICU specialty areas.
