Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist

Position Overview

The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist will spearhead initiatives to source, evaluate, and onboard top-tier candidates. This role encompasses managerial responsibilities for the Talent Acquisition (TA) process across various sectors or functions. The individual will be tasked with comprehending business requirements, identifying opportunities, and designing, developing, implementing, and monitoring processes to achieve desired outcomes.

  • Serves as the primary authority for recruitment and attraction initiatives.
  • Offers expert knowledge for Talent Acquisition (TA) related projects throughout the organization.
  • Leads or participates in the design and administration of TA programs and the development and implementation of TA tools and communication materials.
  • Acts as a liaison with regional HR and business leadership teams concerning TA initiatives.
  • Oversees key vendor partnerships as necessary.
  • Contributes to the Talent Acquisition elements of the Employer Value Proposition.
  • Maintains active engagement within networks to gather insights on competitive practices and industry best practices.
  • Mentors and provides training support to hiring managers.
  • Delivers standard reports, forecasts, and data on TA-related topics.
  • Plays a vital role in managing the selection process, evaluating candidates' non-technical skills, knowledge, and attributes, while ensuring a positive candidate experience.
  • Acts as a point of contact for candidates, hiring managers, and recruiting coordinators regarding candidate status.
  • Develops sourcing strategies in collaboration with hiring managers.
  • Engages with candidates to foster and sustain interest in opportunities within the organization.
  • Builds and maintains candidate pipelines.
  • Identifies and shares recommended candidate sources to enhance the overall function.
  • Efficiently manages candidate information within the Applicant Tracking System.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, or a related field, or equivalent experience is required.
  • Master's degree in business, human resources, or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of comprehensive recruiting experience is required.
  • At least 3 years of executive search experience is preferred.
