COMPENSATION: The hourly wage for this role ranges from $16 to $20, influenced by various factors such as your skills, qualifications, relevant certifications, previous experience, market trends, and other pertinent considerations. Additional compensation may include bonuses or commissions where applicable. This reflects Aramark's good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position at the time of posting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and assist in the daily preparation of food items and ensure proper dating of products.
  • Coordinate the setup and breakdown of service stations as directed by management.
  • Prepare and cook food items according to established recipes and guidelines.
  • Ensure accurate portion control when serving meals.
  • Maintain daily temperature logs for food safety compliance.
  • Conduct quality checks on food items prior to customer service.
  • Notify management of any food items that do not meet quality standards.
  • Complete opening and closing checklists for workstations.
  • Welcome customers as they approach and depart from the service area.
  • Solicit feedback on service quality and address any customer concerns with a positive attitude.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment, including all equipment and surfaces.
  • Ensure all utensils and work areas are properly cleaned and sanitized.
  • Manage waste disposal from the service line accurately.
  • Transport supplies and equipment between storage and work areas as needed.
  • Participate in daily safety assessments and report any hazards to management immediately.
  • Cross-train in various areas as required.
  • Support operations in concessions, catering, and special events as directed.
  • Complete tasks assigned by management on a regular basis.
  • Guide and mentor team members to ensure efficient and timely service delivery.

Qualifications
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory capabilities.

  • Serve Safe Certification is preferred.
  • Capacity to follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
  • Prior food service experience is advantageous.
  • Physical ability to lift and transport hot food items frequently.
  • Willingness to work in a kitchen setting, managing exposure to heat, noise, and other potential hazards.

This position may involve physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of walking and standing. Uniforms and/or Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required.
