About the Job

Fusion Medical Staffing-Radiology is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join their team in a Travel assignment. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for operating MRI equipment and providing high-quality imaging services to patients.

Job Responsibilities
  • Operate MRI Equipment: Safely and effectively operate MRI machines to produce high-quality images of patients' internal structures.
  • Prepare Patients: Prepare patients for MRI procedures, including explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Conduct MRI Procedures: Conduct MRI procedures, including scanning patients, monitoring their condition, and adjusting equipment settings as needed.
  • Analyze Images: Analyze MRI images to ensure they are of high quality and meet medical standards.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Team: Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience as an MRI Technologist, preferably in a hospital or medical imaging setting.
  • Certifications: Current certifications in MRI technology, such as ARRT (R) or ARRT (MR). Other certifications may be required for this position.
  • Skills: Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills. Ability to read and comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and use a computer.
  • Physical Abilities: Remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (up to 50 lbs), pushing, pulling, bending.
