We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Automation Solutions Engineer to enhance and streamline the deployment and operational processes of our applications.

The primary responsibility of this role is to spearhead the automation initiatives for infrastructure setup, application builds, and deployment activities. A deep understanding of cloud infrastructure and the software release lifecycle is essential for success in this position.

This role involves automating and executing tasks related to the build and deployment processes by utilizing scripting tools such as Ansible and CloudFormation.

The successful candidate will provide hands-on automation support to both the release and application development teams throughout the entire release management lifecycle across various applications. Additionally, the role includes recommending process enhancements while adhering to Agile and DevOps methodologies.

Collaboration with IT leadership to refine software engineering practices associated with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) of application modifications is a key aspect of this position. Interaction with architects, developers, deployment teams, and database administrators will be crucial to ensure the automation of diverse tasks.

This role may require being on call during evenings and weekends to accommodate business requirements.

Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in automating build and deployment processes, including database modifications using tools like Ansible.
- 3+ years of experience with BitBucket/GIT for source code management, including branching, merging, and administration.
- 7+ years of experience with J2EE application hosting, tracing, debugging, and deployment.

Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in developing and managing CI/CD (DevOps) pipelines using tools such as TeamCity, Jenkins, and Ansible.
- 2+ years of experience with Ansible in an SDLC environment (Scrum, Kanban).
- 1+ years of experience with Amazon Web Services and related infrastructures.
