Position Overview

The Verland Foundation Inc is seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). This role is essential in delivering compassionate care to individuals with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Practical Nurse, your responsibilities will include:

  • Administering and documenting prescribed medications and treatments.
  • Conducting daily assessments of the physical condition of individuals and reporting any significant changes to the Charge Nurse.
  • Assisting with physician visits and contributing to the development and implementation of healthcare plans.
  • Performing additional duties as required to support the team and individuals in our care.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program and possession of a current state license.
  • Familiarity with current nursing practices and trends.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Successful completion of a background check, physical examination, and drug screening.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and reaching as required by the role.
