Tensioner Technician Job Description

U.S. Tsubaki Automotive, LLC is seeking a skilled Tensioner Technician to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for maintaining the basic daily operation of our primary tensioner machine(s).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain tensioner machining equipment, including tooling adjustment, presetting, and preventative maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot basic machine issues to ensure optimal performance.
  • Ensure the quality of parts produced meets our high standards.
  • Verify parts meet quality standards through inspection and testing.
  • Operate small quality testing equipment, such as calipers, micrometers, and microscopes.
  • Read and interpret part prints to ensure accurate production.
  • Operate multiple production lines as needed.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Zero to two years of related experience.
  • Basic computer skills and experience with 5S principles.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Flexibility to work weekends as needed with 24-hour notice.
