Job Summary

The University of Arkansas seeks a highly organized and detail-oriented Program Coordinator to provide administrative support for the Department of Industrial Engineering. This role will be responsible for managing student records, developing procedures for degree audits and student advising, and communicating curriculum changes and program updates to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage student records and maintain accurate and up-to-date information
  • Develop and implement procedures for degree audits and student advising
  • Communicate curriculum changes and program updates to faculty, staff, and students
  • Coordinate departmental events and activities
  • Provide administrative support for the department, including purchasing office supplies and reconciling procurement and travel cards
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, sociology, public administration, or related field
  • At least two years of experience in program administration or related area
  • Knowledge of program degree requirements and equivalencies
  • Ability to handle records, materials, and issues in a discrete and confidential manner
  • Ability to provide a consistently high level of courteous, professional, and cheerful customer service
Preferred Qualifications
  • At least two years working in an administrative role in higher education
  • Previous University of Arkansas experience using system software
  • Experience as a project manager
  • At least 2 years event or conference coordination experience
