Position Overview

Role: We are seeking a part-time CATERING SUPERVISOR to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate catering staff schedules to ensure timely delivery, service, and cleanup of all events.
  • Prepare and serve food at scheduled events under the guidance of the Catering Director.
  • Transport food and beverages to various locations as needed.

Key Duties:

  • Assess workload requirements based on catering orders.
  • Collaborate with event leaders to finalize setup arrangements and address any last-minute changes.
  • Engage with clients to resolve any service-related issues in a professional manner.
  • Exhibit thorough knowledge of menu items.
  • Guide staff on expectations for catered events.
  • Assist in setting up venues according to specifications.
  • Deliver food and supplies to designated areas.
  • Serve food and beverages to guests with attention to detail.
  • Return leftover food, beverages, and equipment to the catering facility.
  • Ensure proper presentation and maintenance of food temperatures, adhering to HACCP standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of all equipment and supplies.
  • Follow approved recipes and production standards for food preparation.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • A valid driver's license may be necessary. Must be able to obtain a valid food handler's permit and/or alcohol servers permit as required by state regulations.
