When space allows, we also extend our services to those with other severe conditions, such as ALS, Huntington's disease, and cancer.

Responsibilities:

This role involves delivering direct patient care under the guidance of a registered nurse. As a Patient Care Assistant at CommonSpirit Health, you will engage in a multidisciplinary approach that includes nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and recreational therapy.

In this position, you will play a vital role in our team, focusing on the complex care needs of patients with advanced HIV and related health issues. Our facility is known for its exceptional staff-to-patient ratio, ensuring personalized attention and care.

Qualifications:

Applicants must possess a high school diploma or GED. Completion of an accredited Nursing Assistant program or equivalent training is required. Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse is necessary, along with a valid CPR certification.

Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential. Candidates should have basic computer skills and prior experience as a nursing assistant. Physical requirements include the ability to lift and assist patients using proper techniques.
