Position Summary
The Patient Care Coordinator - Medical Assistant I role offers a remarkable opportunity to enhance your career in health care by performing clinical duties and coordinating patient care within the MA-C license scope.
At Indigo Urgent Care, you will collaborate closely with your team to achieve optimal health care outcomes and provide exceptional patient experiences.
Your responsibilities will include delivering outstanding customer service and assisting with clinic management.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with physicians, clinical staff, front office personnel, and clinic management to ensure comprehensive health care outcomes.
- Perform various functions within the clinic setting that require specialized knowledge and integration of available standards, resources, and data.
- Advocate for ethical and holistic care, promoting the autonomy, dignity, and health of patients from diverse backgrounds.
- Create and maintain a safe and supportive environment for patients.
- Medical assistant certification from an accredited training program.
- Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C) license.
- Current BLS Certification or the ability to obtain it through an in-house training program, depending on assignment.
- A minimum of one (1) year of experience in a physician's office or other medical facility is preferred.
- Exceptions may apply for applicants in Idaho positions or those currently in an externship or residency program with an active or pending WA DOH MA-R certification within 7 days of hire.
- Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C) license must be obtained within 45 days of hire.

Pay and Benefit Expectations:

As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $32.72 USD.
However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.
If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will reflect the appropriate step on the pay scale corresponding to the applicant's years of experience.
