Budget Rent a Car is on the lookout for a dedicated Manager to oversee our operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead, train, and develop staff while assessing their performance in alignment with management standards.
  • Consistently enforce company policies regarding discipline, motivation, and evaluations, ensuring effective communication with team members and preparing necessary documentation.
  • Set, communicate, and monitor objectives and procedures for team members in line with company goals.
  • Facilitate meetings to address challenges, employee feedback, strategic plans, and forecasts.
  • Oversee the financial performance of the rental location, including transactions, revenue, rental duration, daily averages, and business rentals.
  • Safeguard company assets, including vehicle inventory and cash management.
  • Continuously assess rates and fleet availability to meet customer demands.
  • Review and adjust personnel expenses to align with profit projections.
  • Employ effective scheduling to minimize overtime while meeting customer needs and business demands.
  • Audit time cards, enforce regulations, and manage shift assignments as necessary.
  • Monitor and guide employees in customer interactions to ensure adherence to service standards.
  • Address customer complaints to ensure satisfaction within established authority limits.
  • Carry out additional duties and special projects as required.
Compensation and Benefits:
  • Attractive base salary with guaranteed bonuses
  • Comprehensive benefits package available after 60 days of employment
  • One week of paid vacation, plus two personal paid days after one year

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of one year in customer service
  • Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
  • Familiarity with standard office equipment (fax machines, calculators, copiers, etc.)
  • Preferred experience in retail and sales
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic setting
