The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced leader to join our team as an Assistant General Manager. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that every guest experience is smooth, efficient, and memorable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Experience: Lead your team in delivering exceptional service, ensuring that every guest feels welcomed and cared for. Manage day-to-day service, lead staff training, and ensure every service experience is running like a well-oiled machine.
  • Food + Beverage Leadership: Work closely with the culinary and bar team to ensure our quality standards are met.
  • People Leadership: Ensure the bartaco culture is upheld by hiring and training the best talent. Create schedules, motivate the team, and support them in their career development.
Requirements
  • 2 years of service, hospitality, retail, or restaurant leadership experience (i.e., trainer, shift leader, or manager).
  • Strong communication skills—written and verbal (1:1 and in a group setting).
  • Ability to reach, bend, stoop and periodically lift up to 25 to 50 lbs. without assistance and 50 lbs. with assistance.
  • Ability to be on your feet and alert for extended periods of time.
