Music Therapist

Essential Accountabilities- Conduct initial evaluations or re-evaluations using standardized and/or informal music therapy assessment tools.
- Design individualized treatment plans and materials to match the patient's unique learning profile.
- Provide therapy according to the treatment plan while monitoring progress and adjusting therapy.
- Document, monitor, and analyze the patient's progress and effects of treatment.
- Communicate, educate, and provide family training on the patient's individualized treatment plans.
- Consult and collaborate with family and other staff or supports.
- Create and submit all reporting, including appropriate recommendations ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Bachelor's Degree in Music Therapy
- Music Therapist-Board-Certified (MT-BC)
- Experience working in a pediatric setting on a multidisciplinary team preferred
- Valid Driver's license
- Must be proficient in English; reading, comprehending and understanding the English language
- Completed FBI and BCI background check
