We are seeking a skilled Veterinary Technician to join our medical team at VCA Madison Animal Hospitals. As a Veterinary Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients and their owners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist veterinarians with medical procedures, including physical examinations, anesthesia monitoring, and surgical preparation.
  • Perform laboratory work, including radiology, laboratory tests, and venipuncture.
  • Provide compassionate care to hospitalized animals, including patient recovery and pharmacy management.
  • Work collaboratively with the veterinary team to ensure a positive, low-stress atmosphere for clients and patients.
Requirements
  • CVT, RVT, or LVT certification
  • Experience in veterinary medicine, preferably in a hospital setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
